Altmetrics: Help Your Researchers Measure Their Full Impact

Altmetrics is the creation and study of new metrics based on the social web for analyzing, and informing scholarship. Alternatives to traditional metrics like impact factor and H-index allow scholars to create a more complete picture of how their work is being accessed and used from the moment of publication - and sometimes years before traditional metrics would show any impact. Our speakers at this program will share their expertise in creating, managing, and using altmetrics to advance scholarly communication.
